Flood in local school in the Broomfield area.

Our team at SERVPRO of Broomfield/NW Adams County received a call that a local school had suffered water damage affecting several hallways and many classrooms. Our crews responded and got to work. They worked to remove excess water through water extraction and setting up drying equipment like dehumidifiers to remove moisture from the air and materials and by setting air movers, to help circulate the hot dry air.
Crews performed flood cuts where the bottom 1-4 feet depending on the damage of a wall is removed so that the wet insulation inside the wall can be removed and the structure correctly dried. In addition to the drying, our crews sanitized affected materials to make sure that no bacteria would grow, no odor would linger and that it would be safe for kids once again.
